History of food goes as long as the existance of human being(I assume so ;)).How the indian developed several varieties of spices is a question which is still unanswered unlike the invention of steam engine, discovery of electricity or principles of kamasutra ..no one ever cares about that so do I :) ....
Finding a particular food tasty is a debatable question and can be nurtured as religion and deeply depend on the society and country where one grow up.... Eating Tasty food could give us a divine feeling (at least when you are hungry) and can be counted along with the feeling of sex,good odour,thirst etc..... It is one of the 5 senses which human being is trying to control ever since its existence still without success.. it is still not understood whether the mind control these feeling or food controls the mind (you are what you eat or you eat what you are ?)But let me come out of these philosophical stuff and stick to some delicious food which i tried yesterday...... Being an Indian , there could not be a better tasting food than Indian but yesterday trying several authentic Italian cheese (also spicy ones,yes cheese can be also spicy) made me rethink about my opinion......it was a divine feeling i got after trying cheese with some nice italian wine what a combination...... and home made pesto (with pasta) can be in noway compared to the pesto from the supermarket or in restaurant.....I got the divine feeling for few seconds which my spiritual Master (if i had one) might let me experience in few decade (very bad in such things ;) ).
